Czapek, Joseph Wolfgang, was born on 19 March 1825 in Prague, and passed away on 6 July 1915 in Ljungskile. The parents of the subject were Wenzel Cžapek, who was employed as a schoolteacher, organist and composer, and Maria Kindl. He commenced his musical education at the age of six, studying the violin. In 1837, he enrolled as a student at the Prague Conservatory, where he had the privilege of studying violin with Fredrik Pixis and harmony and composition under Dionys Weber. After graduating in 1843, he continued his musical development. In the period 1843–44, the subject served as first violinist at the Bohemian Theatre in Prague. Thereafter, he embarked on a tour of Germany, during which he received a travel permit valid until March 1845 on 19 May 1844, and subsequently renewed his travel permits for a period of one year on 16 June 1845 and 12 October 1846. During this time, he assumed the role of conductor for Labitzski's orchestra, followed by a position as concertmaster under Josef Gungl for a duration of two years. Thereafter, he took the helm as conductor of the concerts at Friedrich Wilhelm's städtische casino, also in Berlin. In 1847, he departed from Berlin, assuming the role of conductor for the Steyermarkische Gesellschaft. This position entailed a tour of Germany and Scandinavia, with performances given in Gothenburg and Kristiania. Subsequently, on 13 March 1848, he assumed the position of regimental trumpeter (director) at the Göta Artillery Regiment in Gothenburg.

The title of music director was bestowed upon him on 22 August 1848, and a letter of safe conduct to Sweden was received from the Bohemian district government on 10 May 1850. He served as a singing teacher at several schools in Gothenburg, including the Meijerbergska School, and held the position of organist at the Gothenburg Synagogue from 1856 to 1909 and at the English Church in Gothenburg from 1857 to 1900. In 1855, he became an orchestra conductor in the Classical Music Association, and subsequently served as conductor at Gaudelius' German Opera in Gothenburg for a period of five years. From 1862 to 1866, he held the position of conductor of the Gothenburg Orchestra. On 8 January 1878, he relinquished his role as regimental trumpeter at the Göta Artillery Regiment. In March 1884, he assumed the position of chairman of Eugène Sundberg's quartet society in Gothenburg. The individual in question was awarded the AssocMA in 1853, the LMA in 1857, and the RVO in 1869. He was also the recipient of the Karl XV Medal, the Litteris et artibus Medal, and a number of foreign orders. Furthermore, he was a member of the Masonic Order, being awarded the purple ribbon, and a jubilee commander in Par Bricole. On 17 June 1856, he married Berta Augustina Haglund (née 28 August 1833, died 30 August 1915), who was the daughter of the merchant Lars Petter Haglund of Gothenburg.

Joseph Luiggi was a police agent in Cannes France in 1929. I have searched on the internet in order to find more information about him and the only hit I get is on some books on some people being executed on the island of Corsica South of Cannes.  If this is the same person is not sure.  The one in Corsica was executed in 1943-44 together with others due to military activities there.

In Corsica, repressive activity was, once again, much more severe than on the continent. Two days after the overthrow of Mussolini, the military tribunal of VIIe CA sentenced to death, certainly in absentia, FFL agents Antoine and Benoît Nesa, Pascal Versini, Jean Rossini and Jean Geromini (the latter two in absentia) to 30 years in prison, François Alessandri, Antoine Rossini, Jean Alfonsi and Xavier Bazziconi to 24 years old (all in absentia), finally Pierre-Marie Versini at 20 years old for military espionage and activity favorable to the enemy. On August 16, Pierre Griffi (who claimed to have sent 270 messages and regretted "no longer being able to harm the enemies of the Fatherland")90 and Sébastien Casalta (the latter in absentia) were sentenced to death for military espionage, landing and aid to the enemy, Dominique Casanova, Nonce Benielli and Paul Milelli receiving 30 years in prison, Emile Vermonet, François Antomarchi and Jean-Pierre Milelli 28 years old, Charles Giudicelli, Joseph Tassistro, Ange-Antoine Pietri and François Ferracci 24 years old. Finally, on August 28, Michel Bozzi and Joseph Luiggi were sentenced to death for military espionage in the company of Jean Nicoli for favoring the enemy, receiving weapons and propaganda activity in favor of the FTP, François Franchi, Jérôme Santarelli, Pascal Nicolaï and Jacques Bonafedi receiving 30 years in prison, Ange Mariani, Simon Mary, Paul Bartoli, Pierre Peraud, Joseph Guiderdoni, Damoclès Faggianelli, Pierre Milanini and Ange Chiaroni aged 24, François Cinquini and Robert Andreani aged 20, Raymond Baccellini, Charles and Augustin Bassi aged 15.

Pierre Griffi was executed on August 18 at 6:30 a.m., Michel Bozzi, Joseph Luiggi and Jean Nicoli on August 30 at 7:30 a.m., the last named, who was to be shot in the back, having had an atrocious end, since after refusing this humiliation and shouted: "Cowards, you don't dare look me in the face", he was knocked unconscious with a rifle butt then decapitated with a dagger91. . We can share the opinion of the authors of the AERI CD-Rom on Corsica: The relentlessness of the military judges lasted even though many officers had already returned or hesitated92. .
